Ostendorf - Vandalia Ohio Homes for Sale

Hitting the market for the first time, this historic stone house has been owned in the same family since it was built in 1941. The 2,243 sqft home enjoys stunning views of the Stillwater River from top deck which was replaced in 2020. Many renovations have been started and are ready for the next owner to add the finishing touches. The kitchen was just painted, all the dormer fascia boards have been replaced, fence added in 2020, updated windows, and many trees removed. The two parcels total .589 acres with mature trees and nature surrounding the property all on a quiet, dead-end street. The Stillwater River, a National Water Trail and State Scenic River, provides endless opportunities for outdoor recreating including kayaking and canoeing, fishing, and bird watching as bald eagles can be spotted along the banks. There is also an additional storage barn and chicken coop. The attached atrium/solarium provides year round growing opportunities. All conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and the Dayton International Airport and located in the Vandalia-Butler school district. The property was used as a duplex at one point. Being sold AS-IS cash only.
